Receptionist/Customer Service - Desjardins Insurance Office
Our team is growing, and we’re excited to welcome a new Reception & Customer Service professional to our office! With our current receptionist moving into a new internal role, we’re looking for someone who can step in as the warm, welcoming face of our organization.
Position Overview:
A successful Desjardins Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join their winning team for the role of Receptionist. We seek an energetic professional interested in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experience. Responsibilities:

Answer phones, schedule appointments, customer support, and client management.
Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
Requirements:

Strong computer skills (MS Office, etc.)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening
Proactive in problem-solving
Dedicated to customer service
Ability to multi-task
Prior to start, selected candidate will have to obtain Other Than Life (OTL) Property and Casualty Certification

What You’ll Do

Develop leads, schedule appointments, and identify client needs to recommend the right insurance products and services for home, auto and financial service products.
Work closely with the Agent to set and achieve marketing and sales goals.
Present solutions to potential clients and help them make informed decisions about their insurance and financial needs.
What We’re Looking For

Previous sales experience in outside or inside sales, retail, or telemarketing is preferred, but not required.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – verbal, written, and listening.
Proactive problem-solving skills and a dedication to providing outstanding customer service.
Ability to multi-task and manage client interactions effectively.
Property & Casualty and LLQP license preferred, or willingness to obtain one (licensing tuition reimbursed).

Compensation

Base salary is $45,000 + commission + bonus

Potential earnings: $80,000–$130,000 (base + commission + bonus)
